About Us |

Access Counseling, LLC began providing services in Bloomington, Indiana in 2002. In January of 2006 Access Counseling, LLC acquired Brumbaugh and Associates of Columbus, Indiana which was founded by John Brumbaugh and provided mental health and substance treatment for the last 30 years. Available services include: Evaluations, individual counseling for adults, children, or adolescents, group counseling, couples or family counseling, alcohol and drug education programs, and Intensive Outpatient programs. Issues addressed by our services include: Anxiety, anger, stress reduction, panic attacks, depression, sexual abuse, parenting, dealing with grief/loss/change, substance abuse/dependence, Co-Dependency, Adult Child of Alcoholic issues, relationship issues, personal growth and Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. A specialized treatment developed to treat and resolve trauma is Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). Licensed and certified EMDR therapists are available at either the Columbus or Bloomington locations. The combined professional experience of our clinical staff with specialized training in techniques for resolving trauma and the associated symptoms provides you ACCESS to highly effective mental health services. Our support staff also have over twenty years of combined experience to help with scheduling and third party payment. |
